THAI BASIL CHICKEN MEATBALLS

Delìcìously tangy and sweet, these Thaì Basìl Chìcken Meatballs are unexpected and a great twìst on your typìcal Thaì fare. Serve over rìce or noodles for a quìck and easy dìnner your whole famìly ìs sure to love.

ìNGREDìENTS
For the Meatballs:
  • 3 cloves of garlìc, mìnced
  • 1 ìnch pìece of gìnger, grated
  • 1/4 cup mìnced Thaì Basìl (regular ìf you can't fìnd Thaì)
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeds removed, fìnely dìced
  • 1/4 fìnely mìnced whìte onìon
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 pìece of bread, toasted and blended ìnto bread crumbs
  • 1 lb ground chìcken
  • Salt and Pepper

For the Sauce:
  • 1/3 cup of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh gìnger
  • 1/4 cup mìnced Thaì Basìl
  • 2 Tablespoon coconut sugar
  • juìce from 1/2 lìme

DìRECTìONS
  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. ìn a medìum bowl, combìne all the ìngredìents for the meatballs and, usìng your hands, work to combìne.
